‘Get Out There and GoWYLD’ with New Marketing Campaign

Jun 6, 2022

From June 6 through the end of November, the Wyoming State Library will be promoting a new marketing campaign, “Get Out There and GoWYLD,” showcasing many of GoWYLD’s most useful resources.

GoWYLD.net has a wealth of free online resources that Wyoming library card holders can access wherever they are, and we want every Wyoming resident to know what GoWYLD is, how to use it, and why they should make it their go-to library resource. This campaign has been created to increase the awareness and usage of GoWYLD (as a whole) and promote specific resources such as Libby, LinkedIn Learning, Research Databases, and BookFlix.

The State Library would like to invite your library to help us promote some of GoWYLD’s most useful resources to your patrons and overall community. We’ve created five videos and several other digital assets (web/social graphics) for your library to use and share.

From June through November, we’ll be promoting the campaign on channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn with a specific resource focus each month. On the WSL Toolkit webpage, you will have access to a detailed campaign calendar that you can download and use as a reference guide to share our videos and other campaign assets during these months with us.

Please share these digital assets on your website, social media channels, in your library, and through your email lists. Promoting these resources at the same time as we have outlined in this campaign calendar will increase the effectiveness of the overall campaign.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Greg Mosshammer at greg.mosshammer@wyo.gov. We’re very excited to launch this new marketing campaign and appreciate your support in helping us get this message out on the many GoWYLD resources available to Wyoming residents with their library card!

This campaign is made possible in part through American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, LS-250246-OLS-21.
