Tomorrow is Independence Day! Did you know that Wyoming has an Oregon Trail landmark named for this special day in U.S. history?
Independence Rock, located in Natrona County, this resting point along the Oregon Trail became an unofficial register for travelers who would inscribe their names on the rock. It is now a popular place for visitors to see a piece of our nation’s history and celebrate our independence as a country.
