Nellie Tayloe Ross, Wyoming and the U.S. first female governor

January 5 marked the one hundredth anniversary of an important day in Wyoming and U.S. history. On January 5, 1925, Nellie Tayloe Ross was inaugurated as Wyoming’s governor–the first female governor in the history of the United States.
