Jamie Markus has been appointed to the Lifetime Arts Board of Directors. Jamie is the Assistant Dean of Resource Discovery & Management at the University of Wyoming Libraries. He has worked in libraries for nearly two decades, and was previously the Wyoming State Librarian. Lifetime Arts honored Jamie with the following words: “Jamie is a recognized leader in advancing access to knowledge and resources. His expertise in managing collections and fostering partnerships within the library community will support Lifetime Arts’ efforts to deepen connections with cultural institutions and expand creative aging programs in libraries nationwide.” |
Paige Bredenkamp was recently appointed a fellow in the Mountain Plains Library Association Leadership Institute and will have the opportunity to participate in their May event in Colorado, which will include expert instruction, hands-on projects, and peer collaboration with the other library professionals who were selected to attend. Paige is the eResources and School Library Consultant at the Wyoming State Library and has been at the WSL since 2015. “What a fantastic opportunity,” said Paige regarding the honor. “I couldn’t be more excited!”
