Mark your calendars and get your cameras ready! Wyoming Snapshot Day 2024 has been scheduled for October 22, 2024!
Since 2011, Wyoming libraries have participated in Wyoming Snapshot Day, sharing photos, stories, and patron testimonials that give a “snapshot” of the important impact libraries have in Wyoming communities. Coordinated by the Wyoming State Library (WSL), Snapshot Day is an annual opportunity to show how your Wyoming library makes a difference with the rest of the Wyoming library community, as well as other stakeholders.
October 22 will mark our 14th annual Wyoming Snapshot Day, and the WSL hopes to have a record-breaking number of participating libraries! Make sure your library is represented with photos, stories, patron testimonials, or reader’s comments. As few or as many photos, stories, and comments from each library will be welcomed. (We’d love to have 100% participation!)
If October 22 isn’t the best day for your library to participate, we will welcome photos and stories any other day during the week of October 21-25. Just let us know your plan, and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.
Please contact Christi Weinzierl, WSL Communications and Grants Specialist, at christi.weinzierl1@wyo.gov or (307) 777-5919 and let her know your participation plans for Wyoming Snapshot Day 2024.
More information about this exciting event will be coming your way soon, so stay tuned!
