TumbleBook Library Brings Books to Life for Young Readers

May 9, 2024

Tumble Book LibraryTumbleBook Library is a collection of online picture books, nonfiction books, graphic novels, and chapter books for kids to watch, listen to, and read along with. Created by adding animation, sound, music, and narration to existing picture books, TumbleBooks provide endless, engaging educational experiences for kids K-6. A library of books spanning many topics, ages, grades, and interest levels are available on TumbleBook Library, accessible from the Wyoming State Library’s GoWYLD portal.

Readers can browse the list of available titles; search by title, author, or subject; or select a playlist of books grouped according to topic, grade-level, running time genre, or theme.

Most of the books are written and read in English, but some books are available in other languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, German, Portuguese, Italian, Hebrew, and Arabic, to support multilingual learning.

Games and puzzles accompany many titles to help reinforce the concepts and vocabulary introduced in the book.

For readers ready to tackle chapter books, Read-Alongs provide narration and sentence-highlighting without animation or music to help readers read along.

Tumblebooks can be accessed on computers, tablets, smartphones, or Chromebooks for individual reading at school, at the library, or at home, or on a larger screen for an entire class to enjoy and explore a book together.

Help a young reader in your life access hundreds of books with just a few clicks at school, at home, or anywhere with internet access. TumbleBooks help bring books to life!
