Calling all librarians! The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)’s Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) Program is once again offering our series of free webinars open to the public. The series includes two webinars:
“Getting Started with Patent Public Search” is designed to introduce patent searchers to the Patent Public Search tool and now offers an introduction to search strategy. “Patents for Librarians” and “Trademarks for Librarians” are designed for professional librarians and library staff. Attendees will become familiar with basic patent and trademark concepts and will be able to help direct library patrons to USPTO’s intellectual property resources and to PTRC libraries for further assistance. The webinars have recently been improved and updated so that we are providing library professionals with the most current information about intellectual property.
