Wyoming Adult Hearing Aid Program

Aug 14, 2025

In March 2024, the Wyoming Legislature created the Adult Hearing Aid Program to assist residents aged 18 and older who have significant hearing loss and limited income in obtaining medically necessary hearing aids. The program is administered by the Wyoming Department of Health and is for individuals who are not eligible to receive hearing aids through private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or any other available third-party payor.

Funding is available to support approximately 30 to 34 eligible applicants during the initial application year.

The first application period opened on August 1, 2025, and will close on September 30, 2025. Only complete applications received by mail or fax during this timeframe will be considered. Information for this program can be distributed with this informational flyer.

Before applying for the program, please review the steps on the Wyoming Adult Hearing Aid Program webpage to determine eligibility and for important application instructions.
