Wyoming Librarians Honored on National Library Workers Day

Apr 12, 2024

The Wyoming State Library appreciates the hard work and dedication of all of our Wyoming library workers! Earlier this week National Library Workers Day was celebrated throughout the United States.

Several of our Wyoming library professionals’ names and accomplishments were recognized by patrons and posted on the National Library Workers Day Galaxy of Stars page for Wyoming.

Congratulations to Carol from Ten Sleep, Wyoming; Jennifer from a school library in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Dustin from Powell, Wyoming; Rueben from a school library in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Debi from Lusk, Wyoming; and Janet from Torrington, Wyoming for “going above and beyond”, “giving more than 100 percent”, and being all-around “amazing.” View the Galaxy of Stars page here to see what great things patrons had to say about their favorite library workers.

Nominations for the Galaxy of Stars were submitted via an online form by patrons throughout the country to honor library workers in academic, public, school, special, government, or other libraries. A big “thank you” to all patrons who submitted nominations for our Wyoming library professionals!
