Wyoming Snapshot Day By the Numbers

Last month, over thirty Wyoming libraries participated in Wyoming Snapshot Day by sending in photos and patron comments. A huge “thank you” to all who participated!

Statistics were also collected during this event. Here’s a look at what happens in Wyoming libraries in just one day!

On October 22, 2024, our Wyoming WYLD libraries:

  • circulated 11,476 items, including 4,095 children’s items,
  • issued 121 new library cards and renewed 140,
  • added 1,145 items to their catalogs,
  • and made 3,171,458 items available to Wyoming’s residents in their collections.

WYLDcat Aspen use included 5,754 sessions, 4,502 users, 20,322 views, and 18,495 searches.

Libby by OverDrive served 3,047 unique users with 4,313 total checkouts including 1,420 ebooks, 2,234 audiobooks, and 659 magazines.

In GoWYLD patrons made 673 visits to the A to Z databases list, including 882 total views to 56 different guides.
