Hit the Road With Teen Driver Resources

If you are learning to drive, or teaching a new driver, there are plenty of FREE resources available to you.

• You’ll want to start by learning what the State of Wyoming’s rules and requirements are for obtaining a driver license:
  • How to apply for a Wyoming Driver License
  • Wyoming Department of Transportation FAQs, such as cost of a license and exam location information.
• You’ll need to learn the rules of the road. The State of Wyoming provides copies of their manuals online.
  • Wyoming Driving Manuals: the two manuals you might be interested in starting with are:
    • Rules of the Road, The 2017 State of Wyoming Driver License Manual
    • Rules of the Road for Motorcyclists, The 2017 State of Wyoming Motorcycle License Manual
• Before you take your written driving test, make sure to practice.
  • Free practice tests from GoWYLD
• If you are a parent of a teenage driver, you also need to do your homework.
  • The Parent’s Supervised Driving Program manual
• Whether you already have a license or not, consider attending an Alive at 25 Driving Education course.

• CDL practice tests
