Campbell County Public Library to Welcome Two Wyoming Book Awards Authors

Wyoming Book Awards logoThe Campbell County Public Library in Gillette is pleased to welcome two Wyoming Book Awards authors this fall! Both youth authors will be visiting with students in the Campbell County school district, as well as hosting evening public presentations at CCPL.

Utah author Brandon Mull will be visiting with 5th grade students in the Campbell County school district September 26 to 28; Mull will also host a public presentation on Thursday, September 28, at 7 pm. Mull is the author of various series for children and teens, including Fablehaven; Beyonders; and Candy Shop Wars. His titles have been nominees on both the Indian Paintbrush and the Soaring Eagle book award lists.

Kentucky author Ruta Sepetys will be visiting junior high students in the district October 9 to 13; Sepetys’ public presentation will take place Wednesday, October 11, at 7 pm. Sepetys is the author of the 2022-2023 Soaring Eagle 1st place winner, I Must Betray You, as well as other young adult titles such as Between Shades of Gray; Salt to the Sea; and Fountain of Silence.

Both author visits are supported by a Campbell County Community Public Recreation District grant; the Campbell County Library Foundation; and the Campbell County Friends of the Library.
