Attention, Wyoming Library Community! The Wyoming Library Association (WLA) is excited to officially announce the return of the Wyoming Library Leadership Institute (WLLI) Basket Raffle at this year’s WLA Conference with the purpose of raising funds to support our next “Newbie” Institute, a multi-day leadership development program, and would love YOUR help in making it a success.
WLLI is dedicated to building confident, skilled leaders at all levels of the library profession. Whether you’re new to libraries or have years of experience, WLLI provides valuable mentorship, hands-on training, and lasting professional connections.
There are two ways to get involved:
- Donate a themed basket to the WLA Annual Conference in September. Baskets can be cozy, quirky, or even Wyoming-themed. Be creative!
- Make a monetary donation. No time to build a basket? No problem! Direct donations to support WLLI’s mission of developing library leaders across the state are welcome, too.

WLLI 2024 participants gained valuable knowledge and formed connections with other Wyoming library professionals.
All proceeds from the raffle will directly support the next WLLI “Newbie” Institute. Funds help cover costs like meals, lodging, and materials, ensuring accessibility for library staff from across the state. Be sure to stop by the WLLI table at WLA to join the fun and grab your tickets!
By participating in the WLLI Basket Raffle at the WLA Conference, you’re helping make this transformative experience possible for others. Support leadership. Win cool prizes. Help grow the future of Wyoming libraries—one leader at a time
