University of Wyoming Libraries received high marks from students in the most recent UW Student Satisfaction Survey, conducted in November. The report said the library “is among the most positively evaluated units in our surveys.” The library was one of the most frequently cited things students liked, and 95 percent of students were satisfied with library facilities and services — up from 2014 and significantly higher than national averages.

Dr. Ivan Gaetz, Dean of Libraries, said these results were all thanks to the dedicated and skilled team of library employees. “Service remains a top priority for UW Libraries,” he said. “As we move into strategic planning for the University, we envision ways to build upon this tradition. We hope to develop new, innovative programs to support more fully the teaching, learning, and research mission of the University of Wyoming.”

Overall, the survey showed that more than 90 percent of University of Wyoming students are pleased with their UW education.
