Spring is nearly upon us! May has arrived and brings with it many celebrations. Here are a few on the horizon this month:
- Preservation Week, April 27-May 3, inspires action to preserve your collections. Connect your community through events, activities, and resources that highlight what we can do, individually and together, to preserve our personal and shared collections.
- May is Mental Health Month. Turn awareness into action and promote mental health in your community and nationwide!
- Celebrate Children’s Book Week May 5-11 with young readers in your community. Visit the link for free resources.
- The third Tuesday in May (May 20 this year) is Wyoming Reads Day. Wyoming Reads is a program funded in honor of the late Sue Jorgenson and annually provides a free hardcover book to every first grader in Wyoming.
