UW, Wyoming State Library Announce New Digital Content Service

Nov 17, 2015

GoWYLDThe Wyoming State Library is pleased to announce a partnership with University of Wyoming Libraries which increases the amount of digital content available to Wyoming citizens and UW library users.

The Cloud Library CloudLink service allows users from the UW and WYLD library systems to access the complete eBook collections from both systems and to check out available materials.

In addition to eBooks, UW has recently added nearly 300 digital eAudiobooks which are available for checkout to all users via CloudLink. Audiobooks can be downloaded through the same Cloud Library app and require no changes in settings for Cloud users.

Lori Phillips said on behalf of UW libraries, “We are delighted to partner with the Wyoming State Library to expand Bibliotheca Cloud Library offerings and to continue to provide library users with access to the best popular eBooks and eAudiobooks available.”

The service is designed to be seamless with no app updates required by the end user. Patrons will be able to view and access all available materials, regardless of whether they were purchased by UW or the Wyoming Libraries group. Holds can only be placed on eBooks and eAudiobooks if the items are in the user’s home collection.

Jamie Markus, Interim State Librarian at the WSL, said, “We’re very excited to offer Wyoming residents this service and a wealth of great new content.” To learn more, please visit GoWYLD (http://gowyld.net) and click the Audiobooks or eBooks link under “Subject Areas.”
