The Wyoming Library Association will hold its conference on Thursday, Oct. 27 in a new format, using distance technology to provide great opportunities to learn and connect. The conference will include an opening session, keynote speaker, and a nice variety of programs to choose from.

Currently, WLA is looking for conference zone hosts. If your library would like to host a group in your area, please let us know. You would just need a room with internet, projection, computer and speakers. If you are interested, please contact Chris Van Burgh, chris.vanburgh@wyo.gov .

The conference/program committee is creating the conference program.  Your site will be able to select programs to “attend.” There will be a mix of face to face, live webinar and archived webinar programs. Conference attendees are encouraged to gather for a brown bag or carry in lunch, so that community time is still a part of 2016.

If you have a program that you would like to present, please contact Katrina Brown at kbrown@sheridan.edu, Karen Kitchens at karen.kitchens@wyo.gov, or Chris Van Burgh at chris.vanburgh@wyo.gov.

If you have a question about this or any other article, please contact us at statelibrary@wyo.gov
