The Wyoming Library Association will hold its conference on Thursday, Oct. 27 in a new format, using distance technology to provide great opportunities to learn and connect. The conference will include an opening session, keynote speaker, and a nice variety of programs to choose from.
Currently, WLA is looking for conference zone hosts. If your library would like to host a group in your area, please let us know. You would just need a room with internet, projection, computer and speakers. If you are interested, please contact Chris Van Burgh, firstname.lastname@example.org .
The conference/program committee is creating the conference program. Your site will be able to select programs to “attend.” There will be a mix of face to face, live webinar and archived webinar programs. Conference attendees are encouraged to gather for a brown bag or carry in lunch, so that community time is still a part of 2016.
