National Teacher Appreciation Week Starts Today: Thank a School Librarian!

May 2, 2016

Happy National Teacher Appreciation Week! To mark this May 2-6 celebration, we are giving a shout-out to all library media specialists who do the job of teacher as well as school librarian. Trained and certified, library media specialists teach vital information skills, bridging the gap between school libraries and classroom learning, collaborating with classroom teachers, and enhancing learning in every subject.

Over on Twitter, use the #ThankATeacher hashtag to take part in the conversation.
