Park County School District #6 and the Cody Public Library will host National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Mac Barnett on September 21. As one of only five U.S. communities selected as stops on the tour, this selection is a great honor for Cody.
“We couldn’t be more excited!” said Park County Library Children’s Services Director Holly Baker.
Mac Barnett is the author of over 60 children’s books, including “Sam & Dave Dig a Hole,” “Twenty Questions,” “The First Cat in Space” graphic novels, and the “Shape” picture books, and is well-known for his celebration of the children’s picture book as a great literary form.
