The National Book Foundation’s 2017 Innovations in Reading Prize will award $10,000 to an individual or organization that has developed an innovative project which creates and sustains a lifelong love of reading in the community they serve. In addition, the Foundation will recognize four honorable mentions.
All applicants should share the Foundation’s mission to expand the audience for literature in America. Applications will be assessed based upon the following criteria: vision, ingenuity, transformation, achievement, and leadership.
Apply here by the deadline of February 28. All applicants must be US citizens or programs based in the US.
