Featured GoWYLD Resource: Shakespeare’s Birthday

Apr 2, 2018

April brings William Shakespeare to the forefront of Wyoming library resources. While his actual date of birth remains a subject of debate, April 23rd is the day traditionally observed around the world as the Bard’s birthday.

This month’s featured GoWYLD resource is ProQuest Literature Online, where you can view texts by Shakespeare, access journal articles and other references about the author, and even listen to fully dramatized, unabridged audio recordings of each of Shakespeare’s 38 plays.

Check out the Shakespeare’s Birthday information page for more. Scroll down for items intended to help Wyoming librarians promote this great resource as you reach out to patrons. We hope you find them useful. Feel free to download and distribute according to your needs.

Libraries should have received their mini-marketing kit this morning. You can also find the kit on our website.

If you would like to be either added to or removed from our monthly email list for the mini-marketing kits, contact Susan Mark at susan.mark@wyo.gov or (307) 777-5915.
