AILA/APALA Talk Story Literacy Grants
DEADLINE: March 15, 2022
The American Indian Library Association and the Asian/Pacific American Librarians Association are offering four $500 mini-grants, for the Talk Story: Sharing Stories, Sharing Culture literacy program. This family literacy program reaches out to Asian/Pacific Islander American (APIA), and American Indian and Alaskan Native (AIAN) children and their families.

Western Writers of America 2022 Book Display Contest
CONTEST OPEN: April 4 – May 3, 2022
Western Writers of America is challenging booksellers, museum gift shop managers, and librarians to create a window or shelf display that highlight western authors and western musicians and their work. The store, library, and museum gift shop judged to have the best display will each win $500.

Sara Jaffarian School Library Program Award
DEADLINE: May 5, 2022
School librarians are invited to apply for a $5,000 award recognizing outstanding humanities programming in kindergarten through eighth grade.  In light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on programming, submissions of virtual programs are highly encouraged. Nominated programs must have taken place during the current school year (2021-22). Programs that are still in progress as of the award deadline are eligible, and librarians are encouraged to self-nominate.

Carol McMurry Library Endowment Grants to Libraries
DEADLINE: June 15, 2022
These grants provide support to Wyoming librarians and publicly accessible Wyoming libraries in three areas: education and training, library resources, and library foundation development. A.rt R.esources T.ransfer Library Program
DEADLINE: Ongoing
Thousands of free art books are available for distribution to public and school libraries in underserved communities. Participating libraries may order books once annually. Branch libraries may participate independently or through their main library. All items received must be cataloged in the library’s holdings and made available to all patrons.
