Campbell County youth had the opportunity to play their hearts out at a special Valentine’s Day event held at the Campbell County Public Library (CCPL) on February 5. To celebrate both Valentine’s Day and American Heart Month, the CCPL provided fun activities for both younger kids and teenagers. Nearly 200 youth and their families attended the event.

“Everyone had a lovely time at our early release Valentine’s Day party,” said Angela Stanley, CCPL Youth Services Librarian. “Teens enjoyed a trip through our life-size Candy Land game, while younger patrons enjoyed themed crafts and participated in heart-healthy games, including jump rope and hula hoops!”
The CCPL holds events and programming for patrons of all ages. See their calendar for details on upcoming events at their locations in both Gillette and Wright.
