September is Library Card Sign-up Month: a time to remind parents and children that a library card is the most important school supply of all.
This year, Snoopy, from the Peanuts comic strip, is the Honorary Chair for Library Card Sign-Up Month. This world-famous beagle has been known as The Flying Ace, The Masked Marvel, Man’s Best Friend, and the Literary Ace, among other personas; this fall he makes his star turn when he comes to the big screen in The Peanuts Movie from 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios.
